One day me old friend, Angus MacDufus, was preparin’ to go out on Loch Ness for a wee bit of fishn’. While he was lodn’ the boat a street evangelist happened by.

“Angus, have ye made yur peace with yur maker?” he shouted.

“What are ya talkn’ bout man?” Asked Angus, aggravated.

“Ye know there’s a great and horrible creature in the loch Angus, and if she gets ye, and you’ve no made yer peace with yer maker it won’t go well for ye at the Pearly Gates then will it lad?”

“Agh, go on with yerself man, ye know I dono believe in yur God, or the Loch Ness Monster either fer that matter. Now go peddle yer farie tales elsewhere, I’ve got fishn’ to do!”

So Angus got in the boat and rowed out out on to the loch. After takn’ a wee pull on his bottle of malt, he baited a hook and dropped it in.

Right away there was a great upheaval from the deep. An enormous and powerful monster reared its head from the murky depthsand she was comin’ right for ‘im!

In horror Angus looked to the heavens and pleaded, “Oh God, won’t ya save me from the horrible beast?”

And there came a great and boomin’ voice from above, Angus MacDufus! Why should I save ye? Ye dono believe in me!

Well give me a break man! Until a wee moment ago I dono believe in the Loch Ness Monster either!
