The Fountain of Life
As the water gushes up from the ground
it tells the story of life, how profound
Each droplet strives and struggles to last the longest joins together with others,
in hopes of being strongest
Propels itself upward, wanting to be the best
Reaches the end of its cycle,
and realizes it wasn’t a test
As it re-enters the very pool from which it came
it sees the weaker droplets, and it,
are one in the same
Together they make for a beautiful sight
no need for competition,
no need for fright
Even the droplets that fell off before they
are now in that same peaceful place,
in the very same way
This tells us that it is true, we are all as one
we now know why some choose to walk
and others choose to run
We also know we will gush again,
and memory will be gone
As we enter the tube, and choose to be reborn
So for now, so long, I will rejoin you when…

Joe Marchetti and his wife Doreen were participants in our Heal Your Life Workshop Leader Certification course earlier this year in Orlando, Florida. One of the many exercises in the course invites participants to go outside in silence and just observe the nature of things.
People often get profound realizations and epiphanies during this process. After silently observing the behavior of the water and the individual droplets borne out of the fountain Joe came back with this beautifully poetic description of the nature of the Universe; we all come from one Source, remain made up of that Source substance while experiencing the journey individually, and return to Source to repeat the process over, and over, and over, again, again, and again.
