May your day be filled with blessings
like the sun that lights the sky,
and may you always have the courage
to spread your wings and fly!
~Irish Blessing
lways remember to forget
the things that made you sad.
but never forget to remember
the things that made you glad.
Always remember to forget
the friends that proved untrue.
but never forget to remember
those that have stuck by you.
Always remember to forget
the troubles that passed away.
but never forget to remember
the blessings that come each day.
~Irish Proverb

Dear Hearts,
There are many rich and beautiful traditions of diverse cultures all over the earth, we love and appreciate them all. Among these cultures there is none more delightful than the Irish. The myth, legend, and poetry of fairies, leprechauns and pots of gold are rich food for our imagintions. To hear the lilt of an Irish brogue is to listen to a lullaby. As the noted Irish playwright, John Millington Synge pointed out, There is no language like the Irish for soothing and quieting.
So if you will, take a moment on Monday, 17 March, St Patrick’s Day, with a tip o’ the hat or a hoist o’ the glass to the Irish and all the richness they being to the world.
Love and blessings,
Rick and Patricia

Or, if you are in the lands down under:
St. Patrick’s Day is an enchanted time — a day to begin transforming summers magic into winters nourishment.
