Dear Hearts,
As self-appointed poet laureate and philosopher of the Heal Your Life family of teachers and coaches I’m always wondering about the nature of things. (if you don’t believe that just ask Patricia) There is a muse constantly sitting on my shoulder asking: why? how? where? what? who? do you suppose? wonder if? Now this would not be much of a problem except that I do my best to answer these questions -verbally – audibly – and oftentimes theocratically, complete with full expression and gesticulation. As you can imagine, considering that Patricia and I spend a lot of time together, my philosophical discussions with an invisible friend can can be, uh, well, humm, at least a bit distracting to her, especially when you consider that she is a trained psychologist at the doctorate level.
Armed with our lap tops, iPads, iPods, and cyber equipped phones, Patricia and I are enjoying a little “working holiday” here at Hanalei Bay, Kauai, Hawaii. While sitting on the lanai this morning watching rain falling on the bay the muse piped up and asked, “Where are the Rainbows?” As uasual I shared the question with Patricia. She replied with confidence, “Of course there are rainbows, you can’t see them yet but they are certanily out there.” Considering that Patricia is a master of affirmative manifestation we of course soon thereafter heard someone below shout, “Rainbow!”
Now we finely get to the point; The beautiful rainbow glowing in the morning sky reminded me of the above poem I wrote here on the bay a few years ago while we were leading an advanced teacher training. Near the end of the poem I mention a number of geographic locations which includes the homelands of al the participants of that Heal Your Life Advanced training. Please enjoy.
May your week be filled with rainbow colors in many ways, and remember, as they say here in Kauai, “No rain, no rainbows.”
Love and blessings,
Rick and Patricia
