The Labyrinth
She opened to me
Welcome spirals of life
Each step marked by river stones
Random
Or perhaps not
My journey
My request
Harmony
Harmony
Harmony of body, mind and spirit
I carefully stepped into her
Tentative
Remembering instructions
Fear filling me –
I might get this wrong
Again
The thought comes –
I acknowledge it
Then I lean into it –
If I make a mistake –
It is ok –
The experience is not lost on me
I trust my feet
Arms open to the full embrace of the experience
Let it all into you
I know the way
My innate wisdom guides me
My instincts show me each guided step
I trust, I trust, I trust |
In that surrender
Presence awakens me to the moment
The precious gift of now
I throw open the doors of my heart,
Raise my hands outstretched to the heavens
Let it all in –
Gratitude, filling me for the gift of this labyrinth
The gift of wind and sun, mother earth, and all her creatures
In that moment of deep gratitude
I am filled with joy
Forgiveness to all those who have harmed me
Through no mal intent, just simple ignorance
I say their names, one by one
I forgive you and set you free –
My soul soars
My spirit takes wings
I am one with all the universe
Angels and saints to witness
The purity of my cleansed heart –
Choose a stone, they said -
My eyes drawn to a beautiful blue rock –
I picked it up, held close to my heart
Merged with the river stone of my offering
And joined both
Outward offering and inward gift
In the knowing
Of absolute truth-
That which I give out
I get back Abundantly
I CHOSE LOVE
